PERSONNE

To do a preliminary presentation of PERSONNE at Galerie Joseph, Paris during LES RIVES DE LA BEAUTÉ we invited the artist Bruna Vettori to create an installation in situ echoing the odyssey of the fragrance.

Bruna Vettori is a Brazilian artist who studies at the University of Porto, and at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Writing is the starting point of her work. She explores its plastic potential beyond its own semantics, in search of possible intersections between text, image and medium. Lines and dots coexist as graphic signs; opening up possibilities of meaning that explore the passage of time and poetic potentialities beyond language.

La sensibilité présente dans la matière,
de petits fragments de souvenirs qui perdurent au fil du temps.

La mémoire marquée sur le corps en tissu, la trajectoire tracée à la surface de la peau.

Des sensations océaniques qui transcendent les frontières géographiques
et ce qui reste quand le temps passe.

Les sentiments, comme des vagues, dans une mer intérieure que chacun porte en soi.
