Runze is a fashion photographer and knitwear designer. After studying at the London College of Fashion, Runze is now pursuing her vocation at the School of Visual Arts in New York. She is behind all our 2019 new visuals. From a woman’s point of view, she explores the unusual relationships between people, such as cheating, fantasizing and voyeurism, and her images usually challenge the long existing stereotypes of the traditional gender cognition. + her photographs for ATTACHE MOI here

An olfactory installation premiering ICI & LA, the fourth fragrance of the ATTACHE MOI collection, conceptualized by Olivia Bransbourg. For ICI & LA, Bransbourg collaborated with renowned perfumer Shyamala Maisondieu and artist Marie-Luce Nadal. It is a perfume that represents fluidity of time, personal and geographical wanderings: here and there (Ici & Là). Inspired by the idea of scent and its flow, artist Marie-Luce Nadal created a series of Clouds in Flasks. In the gallery there will be an intimate installation of olfactory pillars, photographs, video, and a mural. The viewer will be invited to accompany this unique experience linking the tangible and intangible. Fall/ Winter 2017

Invitation. October 2017
Perfumer of ATTACHE MOI ICI & LA. Shyamala earned a degree in the field of engineering, but in the end, it was the artistic aspect of fragrance that captured her heart and led her to the laboratory Givaudan. Her approach is poetic and inventive, dramatic and romantic. Her compositions blend comfort with the exotic sensuality of notes like frangipani and jasmine, flowers from her Malaysian childhood. “I like the unexpected combination of polar opposite things.”

PIONEER WORKS BROOKLYN
ATTACHE MOI's third opus, IT WAS A TIME THAT WAS A TIME, is an Eau de Parfum which encapsulates the story of a post-apocalyptic journey choreographed and shot on Super 8 mm in the waterfront areas of Far Rockaway, Coney Island and Staten Island, accompanied by the smell of skin, sand and salt water. The fragrance is a collaboration between British artist Shezad Dawood and French Perfumer Nicolas Bonneville, that is based on Dawood’s latest short film It was a time that was a time (commissioned by Pioneer Works, Brooklyn), and contains dark, smoky and incensed woods mixed with Ambergris, marine overtones and a touch of Immortelle Absolute. The overwhelming power of nature and the strength of the human spirit. Both sublime destruction and fleeting ideal. “My love, my love, do you understand that you are neither man nor woman but all of it?” Premiered at Pioneer Works, Brooklyn New York Fall 2015. Part of FIAF’s Crossing The Line Festival. With the support of Fragrance Resources, SprayTheWorld, Scentys
Perfumer of ATTACHE MOI IT WAS A TIME THAT WAS A TIME. “Nicolas views his profession as exploration. A perfume is never a mere coincidence; it’s thought through and developed methodically. Nicolas asks himself a lot of questions about how to concoct novelties - whether they’re brand new interpretations or adaptations of classic formulas. His inspiration often comes from natural essences, which is something that’s been inherent to him ever” Text and photo credit: Nose Paris

August 2015

ATTACHE-MOI 55 includes top notes of mandarin, mirabelle and cardamom; mid notes of osmanthus, orris and jasmine absolutes; and a drydown of woody amber cashmere musk and vetiver.
Davina Semo is an American artist whose work has featured in numerous exhibitions at key galleries and museums. About ATTACHE MOI 55 : “To me, this perfume is more linked to a place than to a person. There’s something very intimate about it, like a space someone else has been occupying. I could imagine that if a stranger fell asleep I would be able to smell him like this while he was sleeping. It smells warm. I see a hazy light, like the sun falling through trees or into a smoky room. This scent doesn’t smell really smoky or heavy by itself but there is substance to it. It has a weight like a yellowish color within a shadow. Or like when you see smoke caught in the light and can see the volume of it.” Interview published by Helder Suffenplan in Scentury Magazine.
Writer and editor. Here inspired by ATTACHE MOI 55. “One way, westbound, two miles long, and sixty feet across, 55th Street was born just over 200 years ago, as one of the 141 original streets of Manhattan's famous grid. A ribbon of glass, steel, brick, stone and asphalt that glitters brightly after dark. An architectural melee, constantly in process of renewal, both gradual and brutally sudden, 55th Street offers everything that those of us who have never visited New York imagine New York must be-- a majestic allée of towers in a soaring forest of skyscrapers, composed of penthouses, bustling offices, storied hotels, exclusive stores and restaurants, crowded since forever with monarchs, movie stars and oligarchs of industry not quite of the present. Places where the Rockefellers mingle with the Kennedys. Or Nat King Cole serenades Marilyn Monroe while Frank Sinatra stands at the bar. Somewhere that men drink Scotch, women wear pearls, the Bordeaux is at least a quarter of a century old, and the lingua franca of both love and luxury is French. Attache-Moi 55 is a celebration of all things 55th Street. As it is. As it was. As it could be.”

Perfumer of ATTACHE MOI 55. “Her olfactive signature could be describe by this motto “Requirement and Determination” which perfeclty matches with the strong temperament of this marathon runner. According to her, the olfactory viewing and work of reflection is essential to the work of a perfumer as much as determination, the ultimate promise of a quality work. New York City based and Denmark born photographer, Torkil Gudnason, came to the United States in 1978 to pursue his passion in the field of photography. In contrast to the long dark winters that Gudnason experienced growing up in Denmark, his mind and eye drifts towards vibrant and lively subject matter that he constructs in his studio. Gudnason’s most recent works express feelings of wonder and explore the contemporary natural world through the use of color and abstraction of the nude human form. By using classical subject matter, he creates compositions that relate to history but grow and progress in his own light through the use of symbol. Photography for OuiHours magazine
